At it’s monthly meeting of the St. Lawrence County Conservative Party, the Executive Committee voted to endorse Matt Doheny for the 23rd Congressional District. Although the Conservative Party had backed Doug Hoffman until he suspended his campaign, the board felt it was in the best interest for the people of the North Country to have more of a fiscal conservative representing the people of this area. We urge all Conservatives in the 23rd to vote for Matt Doheny, as his beliefs are those of the Conservative Party’s agenda: lower taxes, cut cost, reduce spending, and down size government.
