Colton Amvets grateful for Howell fundraiser success

Amvets Post 262 held a fundraiser on Sept. 11 to help Marine Cpl. Aaron Howell and his family with the cost that he and his family are incurring while Cpl. Howell is recovering from injuries he sustained while protecting our country. The members that were able to participate feel privileged and honored to have been part of this endeavor. We are so proud of him and his family for staying strong through all these difficult days and nights.

We would like to say thank you to the following businesses and people that donated to this fundraiser, without you we could not have done this.

A special thank you to our host band Impulse (Cory & Bill Huckle, Tim Hennessy), to Fred Brothers, Mary Casale, & Kim McClain, to the other singers and musicians that sat in. The entertainment was great. And a very special thank-you to our MC for the event, Ed McCarthy. Ed, you did an excellent job not only for being the MC but for the music you also provided and the long hours you spent there. And to everyone that came through our doors and was so generous in giving. We are very grateful to have the public support and hope that everyone that attended had a good time.
