To the Editor:
I have visited the United Helpers’ Canton Maplewood Campus twice this past fall when I took my son there to entertain for the residents with his band The Acoustic Brothers.
I was first impressed by the beautiful new campus and thinking what a nice place to live. Then, I witnessed first-hand the staff and how they treated the residents.
I was truly moved by the amount of care each and every resident received and how sincere the workers were towards them. The entire time, the staff made sure that everyone was comfortable and enjoying the music. I felt that these people were doing much more than a job; they were treating the residents like they would one of their own family members.
Any potential resident would find a wonderful home there.
