Blankenbush committed to the North Country

To the Editor:

As many of you may know, my husband Ken is running for State Assembly. I want to take a moment and tell you about my husband, the man I love and have been married to for 39 years.

Campaigns are hard on families. I have learned this over the past several months as Ken has spent many hours away from home while he meets with voters. I know that he misses his grandchildren, but I also know that one of the primary reasons that he is running for office is to make sure that our grandchildren have the opportunity to excel here in the North Country.

Over the last several weeks, people have been saying a lot of things about Ken. I am proud of my husband and the campaign that he has run. As your county legislative chairman and as an Assembly candidate, I have watched Ken conduct himself with nothing less than integrity and honesty.

I know that as your Assembly representative, Ken will go to Albany to be a strong voice for the North Country and is committed to making this community a better place to live and work. I hope that everyone knows how much Ken loves this area. He has raised his family on traditional values and common sense and I know that this is how he will represent the North Country. I ask that you honor Ken with your vote on November 2nd.
