On Saturday, September 28, 2019, the following Amvets Post 262 members participated in the clean up along Route 56 from the Amvets Post to the back Hannawa Road: Randy Burke, Amy Cayey, Post 262 Commander Dan McKinley, Tim Hanna, Rick Miller, Jack Auble, Linda Pratt, Dick Pike, Mike Mason, Cassie Regan, Town of Colton Supervisor George Cayey, and Randy Regan of Colton.

In addition to the highway clean up on Route 56, the members also reorganized the post’s garage and donated several items of value to Camp Serenity, a recently established retreat in the Town of Pierrepont for disabled veterans, veterans and their families.
