POTSDAM – The winners of the pumpkin-carving contest held at Julian’s Restaurant, Market Street, during Fright Night have been announced.
Over 25 pumpkins were submitted for judging by Potsdam Middle School students, who carved them as an after school project in Terry Huff's art room.
Pumpkins were donated by Miller Farms in Hopkinton and displayed in front of the restaurant for judging during Fright Night.
• 1st place winner was Marie Amell, with 129 votes, an 8th grade student
• 2nd place winner was Sarah Dominy, with 37 votes, a 5th grade student
• 3rd place was Emily Brown, with 30 votes, an 8th grade student.
Winners received gift certificates to Misty Hollow, donated by Julian's Restaurant.
