Alyssa Cope, from Waddington, recently graduated from The Navy Basic Training in Great Lakes, Ill., on November 23.
She will be continuing her schooling in Aviation at Pensacola, Fla.
Her mother is Brenda Reed and step-father, Jeff Reed of Waddington.
She received the honor of RPOC during her time in basic training and has been promoted to E-3.
