CANTON -- St. Lawrence University students selected for Bradley R. Evers Outstanding First-Year Student Awards include two members of the Class of 2022 from Canton who graduated from Hugh C Williams High School, Lydia V. Adams and Brianna R. Larrabee.
The award is named for Evers, an outstanding first-year student who came to the university in 1990, died suddenly in the summer after his first year.
Nominees must be first-year students with strong academic averages (normally a 3.0 GPA or above), involvement in a variety of academic and co-curricular activities, and who have made positive contributions.
