POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam honored 29 longtime employees upon their retirements during the college's annual employee recognition and awards ceremony.

Together, the faculty and staff members had collectively dedicated 790 years of service to the institution.

"We are proud to recognize faculty and staff who have collectively devoted centuries of service to SUNY Potsdam. The campus is truly fortunate to have such dedicated, hard-working employees who every day strive to make a difference in the lives of our students," said President Dr. Kristin G. Esterberg.

This year's SUNY Potsdam retirees included:

• Elizabeth Bellardini, 32 years of service

• Kimberley Bouchard, 24 years of service

• Lawrence Brehm, 21 years of service

• Kathleen Chapman, 39 years of service

• Jody Daggett, 20 years of service

• Tammy Gore, 20 years of service

• M. J. Heisey, 22 years of service

• Nancy Hess, 19 years of service

The retirees represented every area of campus, from faculty to administration. All of the 2018-19 retirees were honored during a special ceremony that recognizes award recipients and honors employees reaching major employment milestones.
