CANTON -- St. Lawrence University was named to The Princeton Review's "Best 388 Colleges" list for 2023. Based on results from student surveys, the popular rankings publication also recognized several stand-out aspects of co-curricular and academic life.

The University earned a No. 13 spot on The Princeton Review's "Most Active Student Government" list and ranked 25th on both its "Best Science Lab Facilities" and "Best-Run Colleges" lists.

"Each of these rankings is a testament to the multifaceted value of the St. Lawrence experience," says University President Kathryn A. Morris. "Our faculty, staff, and alumni invest much into the academic achievement, professional success, and holistic well-being of our students. As a result, our students possess not only the passion but the practical tools to make an impact on the causes and communities they care about."

Earlier this year, The Princeton Review recognized St. Lawrence University as one of the nation's overall best-value institutions for undergraduate students, applauding its outstanding alumni network and access to internships in the "Best Value Colleges for 2022" guide. The University earned a No. 4 spot on the Top 20 Best Private School Alumni Networks and ranked seventh on the Top 20 Best Private Schools for Internships list.

The Princeton Review also recognized St. Lawrence's commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability in its 2022 edition of "Guide to Green Colleges." Based on an assessment of academic offerings, campus initiatives, and preparation for "green" jobs, the University earned a 94 out of a 99 Green Rating from the publication.

Most recently, Money Magazine named St. Lawrence one of the nation's top 50 best-value liberal arts colleges based on an evaluation of the University's outcomes, affordability, and quality of education.

St. Lawrence is also ranked among The Princeton Review's Best Northeastern Colleges and is named as one of 50 schools in its Colleges That Create Futures list.
