Potsdam woman takes third place in HSNNY customer service excellence competition

POTSDAM – In December 2010 The Hamister Group CEO, Mark Hamister, put out a challenge to all company-wide co-workers to submit innovative customer service excellence idea for a competition. Health Services of Northern New York (HSNNY) is a wholly-owned business within The Hamister Group, Inc. which also owns and operates three assisted living and memory care residences and ten hotels, including Marriott and Hilton locations throughout the northeast United States.

Dora Mose, LPN, submitted a proposal to Mark on December 8, 2010 which focused on improving communication throughout the organization and implementing a system for tracking and handling customer feedback in an effective way. Dora’s submission won the third place prize. Dora has been with HSNNY since 2009 and is a current member of the customer satisfaction committee.

“It means a lot to our agency to have wonderful, forward thinking, problem solvers on our staff, such as Dora,” says HSNNY Administrator Matthew O’Bryan.
