POTSDAM – Noah Throop, Potsdam schools graduate and son of Gary and Cait Throop, won an Emmy presented to him and his CNN colleagues at this week's Emmy Awards
“His mom and I are very, very proud,” said Gary Throop, a financial advisor at the Potsdam Edward Jones office. “We’re delighted at his success.”
Noah is a filmmaker based in Brooklyn. He currently works as a producer and editor for CNN's online video network, Great Big Story.
He was a winner in the category Outstanding Arts, Culture Or Entertainment Report as a member of the team that produced a segment entitled Art and Soul. It is a short documentary about the Creative Growth Art Center in Oakland, California.
