The Healthy Small Business Project (HSB) of the St. Lawrence Health Initiative has announced the winner of the Everybody Everyday Physical Activity Challenge.
James Eshelman of Potsdam Building Blocks Daycare (PBBDC) participated in 5,940 minutes of physical activity during the six-week campaign.
The campaign began on July 11 and challenged participants to establish a routine of intentionally scheduling daily activity into each week.
James rode his bike, walked and lifted weights. He said “this was new for me and I couldn’t have done it without the support of my wife (who also works at PBBDC) and Miss Marlene (director of the daycare).”
James won an Ipod Shuffle, Kan Jam Frisbee Game, Speedminton Racket set, and a 28qt Coleman Cooler with Flexi-freeze re-useable ice packs.
