A recording of her acknowledgment of the award was enjoyed by the NAHEC staff and Board of Directors.
Megan is the daughter of Kevin and Tina Reed of Ogdensburg. She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy, achieving the status of valedictorian in her class of 2022.
Megan’s interest in healthcare started at a very young age. Her interest peaked when she attended a NAHEC MASH camp where she had the opportunity to experience multiple departments within the hospital, including her favorite, Radiology. Megan also participated in New Visions Medical Careers at Northwest Tech BOCES in Ogdensburg, which provided her with interactive experiences that will help further her healthcare career.
She is studying radiologic technology at Alfred State College. Once graduating from Alfred State College, she plans to return to the North Country to provide services to the residents of her beloved community.
