The daughter of Scott and Kim Lalone from Ogdensburg, and a graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy, where Emma excelled academically and participated in many extracurricular clubs, sports, elementary classroom and community volunteer activities.
She is now planning on a career in Early Childhood Elementary Education at SUNY Cortland.
Two additional scholarship were presented. The Janet P. Dana Memorial Scholarship ($400) was awarded to Rylee Andrews, daughter of Michael and Jodi Andrews of Malone.
The RENY/NZ unit members of the Clifton-Fine-Edwards Retired Teachers Association awarded their 2022 P.A. Miranda Scholarship($1,500) to Clifton-Fine Central School District graduate Karina Benzel, who is the daughter of Will and Judy Benzel of Wanakena.
