Hooray for the person who wrote in and complained about the Bible being mentioned in politics (“Keep Religion Out of Politics,” Sound Off, Jan. 11-17). I whole-heartedly agree. Keep the Bible and your religion out of politics. My religion is different than yours, but I am still a citizen of this town, county, state and country. And I am just as important as you. Laws can be made without referencing the Bible. Oh, and just because I am not a “Christian,” it doesn’t mean that I am less of a citizen than you.
