“Ethyn started out strong in his junior year when he built a Push-Pull Machine for St. Lawrence County Fire. He is an independent worker who seeks help when needed. Ethyn passed the New York State Structural Welding Test AKA Bridge Test. Ethyn always participates in projects not only in the shop but also for the National Honor Society,” Hughes said in a news release from the chamber.
Moquin works at the Morristown Church, Stouts Ready Mix and has his own snowplow/handyman business.
He is on the Morristown Track Team and the Morristown Fire Department.
He is the president of the BOCES Honor Society and he served on the Committee for the Dissolution of the Village.
He would like to continue in the welding and heavy equipment operation field in his future career. He plans to continue being active in the Morristown Fire Department.
He plans to run in the primary election for town councilman at the end of June.
Moquin received a certificate from BOCES, a Chamber Dollars check and a plaque.
