HARRISVILLE -- U.S. Air Force Airman Kyle F. Stearne, a Harrisville Central School graduate, has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.
Stearne completed an intensive eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principals and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force.
Stearne continues technical training at Sheppard Air Force Base for four months, and then at Holloman Air Force Base. He is in training for F16 Crew Chief.
Stearne is the son of Autumn (Tim) Brown of Harrisville, NY, and Brian (Donna) Stearne of Knightdale, NC.
