HAMMOND — Hammond Central School has named its class leaders for the graduating class of 2022.

This year’s valedictorian is Cherie Hadlock. She has earned 96.91 cumulative average and will graduate with a regents diploma with advanced designation. Cherie is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, Yearbook Club, Senior Play, and Book Club.

Cherie received the Clarkson Leadership & Achievement Award during her junior year. She will be attending Clarkson University in the fall, where she will pursue a degree in Supply Chain Management. We are very proud of Cherie and her accomplishments and wish her the best. Cherie is daughter of Roger Hadlock and Jennifer Rogers.

This year’s salutatorian is Abigail Bresett. She has earned a cumulative average of 96.18 and she will graduate with a regents diploma with advanced designation. Abby is a member of Senior Band, Senior Chorus, National Honor Society, Senior Play, and Yearbook Club.

Abby received the Bausch and Lomb Honorary Science Award during her junior year. Abby will be attending SUNY Canton where she will be pursuing her degree in Nursing. We are extremely proud of Abby and all of her accomplishments and wish her the best. Abby is the granddaughter of Michael and Billie Jo Bresett.
