Graduations took place at Massena, St. Lawrence Central, Gouverneur, Lisbon, and Harrisville high schools on Friday.

Students across the North Country earned their diplomas at ceremonies held in local school districts.

Here is a breakdown of some ceremonies held on Friday with class leaders and a list of graduates.

Massena Central seniors walked the stage June 24 on the turf.

Massena Central named Elizabeth Cichetti, as the district valedictorian and Madeline Tusa as the salutatorian for 2022.

Honor graduates at Massena included Elizabeth Cichetti, Madeline Tusa, Joey Abrantes, Dakota Allen, Zack Barney, Stephon Besancon, Sophia Bolster, Mara Brown, Sophia Brown, Cooper Cecot, Nevada Chapman, Reagan Clute-Francis, Aiden Coleman, Emily Derouchie, Logan Dobbins, Brendan Finnegan, Grace Fredericks, and Luke Greco.

Graduation at Brasher Falls Central took place Friday, June 24, on the turf field.

Speakers included Superintendent Christopher Roe, class president Kayle McCarthy, valedictorian Dylan Bissonette, salutatorian Danaye Ramsdell, and English teacher Margaret Dean. The yearbook dedication was for Emily Taylor.

The graduating class includes Jayden Ashley, Royas Barney, Dylan Bissonette, Merlyn Bordeleau, Cohl Breiner, Maxxwell Burnett, Grace Chagnon, Kenneth Charleston, Audrey Clark, Conner Cline, Alina Coca, Grace Coughlin, Jillian Crites, and Kristen Crump.

Lisbon Central hosted its graduation night on June 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the district auditorium.

The speakers will be Pledge of Allegiance, Marissa Robinson; honors speaker, Miles Gendebien; honors speaker, Calea LeBel; class vice president, Mikaela Buckley; and future plans, Abigail Evans.

Lisbon recognizes an honors group of students that have earned a cumulative grade point average of 90 or higher. ThiS year 18 students will be recognized. They are Miles Gendebien, Calea LeBel, Noah Martin, Rowan Rishe, Emily Jordan, Tien Huyhn, Matthew Walker, Riley Beldock, Jayden Williams, Trent Williams, Mikaela Buckley, Abigail Evans, Abigail Avery, Cody Claxton, Chase Jacobs, Julia Rishe, Matthew Dean, and Marissa Robinson.

This year the district valedictorian is Caroline Delles and the salutatorian is Jayla Hall.
