Grasse River Heritage recently awarded Grace O'Neill of Canton to receive this year’s Grasse River Heritage Award.
O'Neill will attend SUNY Geneseo and plans to major in Biology, with a minor in Environmental Studies.
Grace has been a member of the Environmental Club for two years as well as Select Choir, National Honor Society and hosted a French Exchange student.
She is a four-year member of the Swim team and played basketball as well.
She currently works at Morgan's Ice House and the Dairy Queen.
Grace states she would "love to do more work with the environment and how humans interact with it, whether it's a career or something I do in my free time."
