The Edward I. Moses Walk/Run for Life recently presented Hospice and Palliative Care with an award in the amount of $10,000.
The award helps to support the Respite Care Program, which provides much needed assistance to those caring for loved ones with long term illnesses. The 33rd annual Edward I. Moses Walk/Run for Life is taking place Sunday May 1, 2011 at Appleton Arena. All money raised at the event is distributed in St. Lawrence County to help with the education, prevention and early detection of cancer.
