POTSDAM – St. Lawrence Health System congratulates Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s Employee of the Quarter, Pamela Akins, Patient Representative with the Eye Care Center.
Akins began working for Canton-Potsdam Hospital in November 1988. She is described as someone who goes out of her way to be helpful to patients, and provides amazing customer service.
Practice Manager Brittany Adams noted Akins has been with Canton-Potsdam Hospital for nearly 31 years, and her experience is immeasurable.
“Pam brings a wealth of knowledge and patient experience to our team. She provides our patients with great care and welcomes them with a smile each day,” Adams said.
“Her patience and calming demeanor are key in assisting our patients in such a busy and fast paced practice, and she always goes out of her way to assist them with transportation by partnering with Volunteer Transportation Services,” said Adams.
“We appreciate all Pam has done and still continues to do for our St. Lawrence Health System.”
Employees of the Quarter were presented with a dish garden, gift certificates, a memento pin, and a designated parking space for the next three months.
