POTSDAM -- Clarkson University appoints assistant professor of mechanical & aeronautical engineering.
Michael C. F. Bazzocchi received his Ph.D. in aerospace engineering from the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies and his bachelor of applied science in engineering science degree from the University of Toronto.
He has co-published in Advances in Space Research, Journal of Spacecraft and Rockets, International Journal of Technology and Design Education, Journal of the Astronautical Sciences, and Acta Astronautica, among other publications.
Bazzocchi is a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the American Society for Engineering Education, the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum, the Canadian Space Society, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
He previously served as research coordinator at University of Toronto and worked for the RHEA Group as a spacecraft concurrent design engineer on the Canadian Space Agency satCODE (satellite concurrent design) project.
