The Church & Community Program held a recognition ceremony at its annual meeting recently in the Grasse River Heritage Room. CCP Board President Pat Alden, center, presented the awards. The honorees were, from left, Carol Coakley, Business Partner Award for Bill Coakley of Coakley Hoe & Hardware, for his generous support for CCP and the fund-raising opportunities he creates for the program; Paul Mitchell, new special Community Champion Award in recognition of his steadfast support for not-for-profits and the community through his work as editor of the Plaindealer; Alden; Jim Snell, the Richard Morrow Humanitarian Award for his many kind works for CCP and the community; and Jim Snell, the Richard Morrow Humanitarian Award for his many kind works for CCP and the community.
