High school seniors Danielle Eggleston, Massena, and Sydney Levison, Norwood-Norfolk, are winners of $750 college scholarships from Azure Mountain Friends (AMF).
Eggleston will attend SUNY Canton in the fall, and Levison will enroll at Siena College.
Scholarship winners are chosen on the basis of personality, fitness, and familiarity with the Azure Mountain area. In order to earn their scholarships, they are required to serve as volunteer summit hosts and stewards at the 101-year-old restored fire tower on the summit, near St. Regis Falls, on five separate weekend days during the summer.
