Avery named CPH 'Employee of the Year'

Robin Avery, RN, Medical/Surgical 3rd Floor, at Canton-Potsdam Hospital was named Employee of the Year for 2010.

Avery was chosen from 12 finalists who had been named employees of the month throughout 2010. Her colleagues cited Avery’s professional attitude, responsiveness to the needs of patients, exceptional listening skills, and support for her colleagues as just some of the many reasons she should be honored.

“Since Robin’s hire in January 1989, she has shared her time and talents with many different areas of the Hospital, including Ambulatory Surgery, Chemical Rehabilitation, and Critical Care,” said Nan Rutledge, Vice President of Patient Care Services. “Robin gives nothing less than 110% to her patients and her family of seven children,” added Rutledge.

As Employee of the Year, Avery receives Potsdam Gift Certificates, an achievement plaque, floral arrangement, and the admiration of her colleagues.
