In its first concert in 25 years, the 84-member Potsdam Community Band will perform Saturday, July 10 at 11 a.m. in the gazebo at Ives Park during the Potsdam Summer Festival. Under the baton of Potsdam High School band director Theresa Witmer, the performance includes traditional Band music, marches, well-known overtures, and popular themes from stage and screen. The history of the band goes well back into the late 1800s.
