The juniors in Mrs. Smith’s, Culinary Arts I BOCES class picked apples at Brookdale Apple Orchards, owned and operated by Mr. & Mrs. Carr at 1997 County Rt. 49, Winthrop. A total of 840 lbs. of Cortland apples were gathered, packed into 5 lb. bags and donated to area neighborhood centers and food pantries.
