Kayla Phillips, a resident of the Old Potsdam-Parishville Road, daughter of Brian Phillips and Nicole Pitcher, is shown helping the members of the Parishville Ladies' Auxiliary during their recent Italian dinner as one of her community service projects. Kayla is a New York finalist for the National American Miss Pageant. She will be competing in the state pageant in Rochester in July. Kayla is the granddaughter of area residents Bob and Patty Phillips and Dale and Lorraine Pitcher.
