Operation Christmas Child

Potsdam United Methodist Church and West Stockholm UMC have collected a total of 77 shoe boxes filled with gifts to make Christmas brighter for children in countries all over the world. Above, from left, next to the new window display at Living Water Christian Store, 20 Elm St., Potsdam,  Madison Ashley, A.J. Daniels, Brittany Ashley, and Rev. James E. Barnes II, pastor of the Potsdam UMC, carry boxes into the store. Living Water is a local drop-off point for boxes collected through through "Operation Christmas Child," a Samaritan's Purse ministry led by Franklin Graham. Living Water will continue to accept shoe boxes this week. Betsy Baker coordinated the shoe box effort for Potsdam UMC.
