Five members of the North Country Region PTA recently attended the annual Summer Leadership Conference presented by the New York Congress of Parents and Teachers (NYS PTA) in Utica. Seated are Sue Rau, Consultant NYS PTA, of Massena, and Ellen Galo, Region Director, of Potsdam. Standing are Carla Ingram, Past Region Director and current Potsdam PTSA President, Jean Levien, Secretary of Elizabethtown-Lewis PTSA, and Angela Grant, Treasurer of Herman-Dekalb PTA. Also standing are Luis R. Rodriguez-Espinosa and Guillermo Ruiz from the newly formed Puerto Rican Congress. The North Country Region links PTAs in Clinton, Essex, Franklin and St. Lawrence Counties.
