The rainbow flag was raised June 28 at the Canton Municipal Building and the Potsdam Town Hall in support of LGBTQ Pride Month. The controversial issue drew passionate comments from area residents on social media, both in support and vehemently against the plan, after NorthCountryNow.com’s story appeared online last month.
