Harold Ellingsen Jr. of Potsdam recently went on a winter bird walk to Bloomingdale Bog with some folks from the Northern New York Audubon Society. "At the end of our walk, we were surprised to have five gray jays in our midst," Ellingsen reported. "As you can see from the photo, a gray jay will take food from your hand."
