


A ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of the Potsdam School's concession stand took place Saturday, September 11 at the football game and Hall of Fame Weekend. The Potsdam Booster Club started planning the construction of the concession stand two years ago, following the installation of the turf field. The building was constructed and funded by many parents, students, local businesses, faculty, maintenance staff, and the Booster Club. School Board President Ralph Fuller coordinated its construction. Other volunteers that helped included Paul Labrake, Tyler Fuller, Matt Brusso, Al Benda, Jim Kirka, Reggie McDonald, Joe Stark, Pam Hazen, Jeff Prosper, Dave Gravliln, Ronnie Kilgore, Rob Scott, John Snell, Jim Sheehan, Bruce Woodruff, Steve Warr, Scott Hazen, Chris Adams, Charlie Merriman, Bob Brothers, Rod Voltra, Rick Russell, Pat McLaughlin, Steve Foster, Mick Maguire, Darrin McHenry, Shane McHenry, Todd Kaiser, Dave Gravlin, Tom Caruso, Mark Wilson, Kyle Fennell, the Potsdam football team, Superintendent Pat Brady, and Potsdam Booster Club past and present members, including organizers Jen McDonald and Paula Roll. Donations were received from Jim Sheehan Construction, Woodruff Block, Potsdam Electric, Van Ness Company, Triple A Building Supplies, JC Merriman, and Great Northern Printing.
