The family of Jesse D. McCarthy would like to thank everyone who helped make the 1st Annual Pride & Joy Bike Run/ Pig Roast such a huge success. All profits went to the Jesse D. McCarthy Music Scholarship Fund, started last year in memory of Jesse McCarthy, who died in a car accident Sept 17th, 2009. The awards were given out at the end of the Pride & Joy Bike Run. The recipients of 2010 were Nick Rycroft of Colton School chose a gift certificate from Dicks Country Store and Claire Woodcock of Canton School preferred voice lessons at Crane School of Music. They hope to make this Music Scholarship work to help aspiring music students in St. Lawrence County to continue their music interests.
