The Corning Inc. Foundation recently contributed $2,500 to the Canton-Potsdam Hospital Foundation, toward purchase of a full-body ergometer for the Hospital’s Canton-based outpatient physical therapy program. The ergometer is similar to an exercise bike, but allows patients to “pedal” using either their arms or their legs. It is specifically designed for those with limited mobility; the seat can be removed to accommodate a wheelchair.
