The Colton-Pierrepont Parent-Teacher-Student Association and Catamount Lodge & Forest recently hosted a fun letterboxing event to help connect children, parents, teachers, and others in the community with nature. Participants were introduced to letterboxing -- an outdoor "treasure hunt" that combines hiking, orienteering, adventure, mystery and the thrill of discovery -- by local letterboxers having the trailnames of Wyvern, Lostgirl, and The Cat of Colton.
