Colton Amvets Post 262 Ladies Auxiliary raises money each year to offer a scholarship to a Colton-Pierrepont Central School graduate that is attending college seeking a career in nursing. On Saturday, Oct. 23, the auxiliary held a Karaoke Contest. The contest was a double round elmination to choose the top three singers and then the top three competed for the final round. Michelle Vaisey scored 30 out of a possible 30, Bill Melchiore and Morgan Sabre tied at 29 and sang a fourth time to break the tie with Morgan Sabre, age 10 taking second place and Bill taking a very close third seat.
