Recently the Laurentian Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club organized a hike to Seymour, a trailless mountain in the western High Peaks not far from Tupper Lake. A long but level walk in is followed by a very strenuous climb to this summit with great views including Ampersand Lake and Mountain in the background.
