Young Lisbon native donates memorabilia to fire department

13 year old Elizabeth “Lizzy” Norton made a donation of 60 Fire Department Patches to the Lisbon Fire Dept. Lizzy collected the patches and other firefighting memorabilia throughout New England and the Boston area for the past 6 years. Lizzy is a native of Lisbon who is currently living in Boston due to health concerns. According to her mother Cathy Norton Lizzy has wanted to be a Firefighter since she was two years old. Lizzy presented the patches to Fire Chief John McLear and President Mike Light during the department’s January fire meeting. Pictured is Fire Chief John McLear, Lizzy Norton and President Mike Light.
