Hunter Martin, of Spruce Grove farm in Lisbon, received a blue ribbon for showmanship in the Open Beef Show, from John Hunter, Beef Superintendent, and Judge Mackenzie Waro, at the Gouverneur and St. Lawrence County Fair Tuesday . His bull calf, Lone Star, and heifer, Miss Layla, received Grand Champion awards also. Martin was praised for his knowledge of the Charolais cattle and their cleanliness.
