WPBS-DT and TJ Toyota of Potsdam recently held writers' workshops at the Norwood and Norfolk libraries to encourage children in the North Country to create their own stories as part of the PBS KIDS GO! Writers Contest. The workshops helped children start and finish their own original stories complete with illustrations for entry into the contest which will hold a local awards ceremony at the Public Television station’s studios in May to award first, second and third place prizes in grades K-3.
