Many of the 72 individual participants as well as members of 17 teams race off to a fast start Saturday in the Norwood Beach Triathlon at the Norwood Beach. The race consisted of a ¼-mile open water swim, 15-mile bike and 4-mile run. Proceeds benefited the John C. Purvis Scholarship Fund and St. Lawrence County Health Initiative.
