In the strong winds over the weekend, 'snow rollers' formed on Norwood Lake and Noelle Stock took this photo. She says the rolled-up snow happens when large snowballs are formed when wind blows across flat patches of snow, picking up material along the way. 'Unlike snowballs made by people, snow rollers are typically cylindrical in shape and are often hollow inside," Stock said.
