Third grade students at Norwood-Norfolk School recently took a field trip to SUNY Potsdam's Science Department. Students visited the geology department where they learned about rocks, minerals, and their uses. Dr. Chris Kelson gave each student a dozen rocks to start their own rock collections. Then Dr. Frank Revetta gave students a tour of the planetarium. Pictured here are students Logan Weaver, Nicholas Enslow, and Lauren Stratton examining some of the rocks in the geology room.
