The Norwood-Norfolk Central School Angel Tree Program, coordinated by the school, teachers and community members to help needy families every year during the holidays, recently received a donation of 134 pairs of mittens. Both local knitters and some from the Syracuse area donated the mittens. Angela (Bishop) Mann, a 1996 NNCS alumnus, organizes the mitten project and her Syracuse-area knitters donated 109 pair of the mittens this year, said Robert Haggett who has knitted and contributed many mittens to the project over the years.
