An unknown soldier stopped at the Brasher Falls Park and replaced the flag pole and planted flowers around it on Saturday. It was damaged last week, after a vehicle lost control and left the scene. A neighbor, Everette Drean, who was a Marine and served in the Army Reserves, saw the soldier and what he was doing and donated a new American flag to hang. “Our flag and freedom should never be taken for granted or the soldiers who fought for you to have them,” said Sheila Daoust of Tri-Town Candid Pics who submitted the photo.
