Going green at Norwood-Norfolk
Friday, May 13, 2011 - 6:22 am

Elementary students at Norwood-Norfolk Elementary School each received reusable shopping bags as part of Earth Day. Students were encouraged to reuse these bags, rather than use plastic or paper bags that add to our garbage. Walmart stores donated 400 bags to the Earth Day project. Alcoa also donated a tree seedling for each student in the school to plant at home. Pictured here are some third graders displaying their reusable bags.
