Detective Thomas Caringi from the St. Lawerence County Sheriffs Department provided over 300 Child Safety ID cards to the students at Norwood-Norfolk Elementary School last week. He took their photo, personal information, and fingerprints which are displayed on the card. Parents had the option to allow the information contained on the card to be stored on the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services for missing children’s databank. Detective Caringi also came in earlier this year and provided internet safety information to students in grades K-4.
